The consecration of Lord Ram’s grand temple in Ayodhya will take place on January 22. As the date approaches, the temple is set for divine darshan with Lord Ram in his majestic palace. The lives of the priests and servants, who dedicatedly serve young Ram, are undergoing positive transformations. The priests and employees, entrusted with their roles, are benefiting from the Ram Mandir Trust’s provision of facilities equivalent to those for government employees.
Chief Priest Acharya Satyendra Das now receives an increased salary, from Rs 15,520 to Rs 25,000. The Assistant Priest’s salary has also seen a rise from Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000. Additionally, the servant tending to Ramlala in Ram Janmabhoomi has experienced a salary increase from Rs 8,000 to Rs 15,000. The Ram Mandir Trust is extending facilities to these priests, mirroring those provided to government employees.
Acharya Satyendra Das, the chief priest of Ram Janmabhoomi, mentioned that there has been a recent salary increase for the temple staff. The assistant priest now receives Rs 20,000, while the Kothari and Sevadar get Rs 15,000. The chief priest’s monthly salary is around Rs 25,000. Moreover, the Ram Mandir Trust has committed to providing priests and servants serving Ram Lala with facilities comparable to those in government jobs.
The Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, is poised for the consecration ceremony (Pran Pratistha) of Lord Ram Lalla. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, overseeing the temple’s construction, is diligently completing preparations for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony scheduled for January 22. This significant event is expected to be graced by the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and esteemed dignitaries from around the globe.
Devotees worldwide have actively contributed to the construction of the temple, with donations to the Trust reaching nearly Rs 5,000 crore in the past three years. These funds are systematically deposited into designated bank accounts. The Trust continues to receive daily donations up to Rs 2 lakh through diverse channels, including online transactions, cheques, and cash. Monthly donations are reported to be around Rs 1 crore, highlighting ongoing support for the temple’s development.
