The actress, who made her cinematic debut with 'Teen Patti', was applauded for her performance in the 2013 romantic drama 'Aashiqui 2'. She was also seen in 'Gori Tere Pyaar Mein'.
Shahid and Vishal Bhardwaj have worked together for 'Kaminay' in the past.
