Guruvayur: High drama at council meeting

GURUVAYUR: A meeting of the Guruvayur municipal council was disrupted on Tuesday following an attempt by the Opposition party members to block the entrance of the council hall.The move triggered heated exchanges between the members of the Congress and the ruling LDF.The huge mirror at the entrance hall was broken and several members were injured. The Opposition alleged that the ruling party members attacked them. At a media briefing, Municipal chairman T T Sivadas said that the incident was a political drama. The municipality will take legal steps on the issue.
