A government school teacher has been suspended from election duty for being absent from work without prior information, officials said in Bikaner on Tuesday.

A government school teacher has been suspended from election duty for being absent from work without prior information, officials said in Bikaner on Tuesday.

Muhabbat Ali was suspended on Monday by district election officer and collector Arti Dogra for being absent from poll duty without giving prior information.

The collector also served notice to another teacher, Shobha Soni, for dereliction of duty.
