Pebble will play host to an evening of trance with Max Graham on July 31. Accompanying the talented DJ is Rohit Barker, who will unleash his musical madness onto the dance floor. Max Graham is a Canadian DJ, composer and producer who manages to transcend genres while producing international hits in the dance music scene.He runs Shine Music and ReBrand Records and he currently resides in Montreal.From his trance hits like Airtight and I Know You’re Gone to his monster 80’s remake of Owner of a Lonely Heart he knows how to make, and play records that get the dance floor moving.When we spoke to Max regarding his trip to India, he said, “I can’t wait to experience that amazing country. I love coming back to India.” After working on several projects, Max returned big in 2010 with the first artist album of his career entitled Radio, this album spawned such hits as Sun in the Winter (featuring Neev Kennedy) and Nothing Else Matters (featuring Ana Criado) both strongly supported by world number one Armin Van Buuren and trance legend Markus Schulz.Graham was born in London, England and lived in Spain, New York City and Los Angeles before settling in Ottawa in 1989. At the age of 15 in 1986, he began as a hip-hop and scratch DJ before discovering and falling in love with the house music scene between 1992 and 1994.Max was also instrumental in the creation of the famous Atomic club in Ottawa, and his weekly six hour sets at Atomic are the stuff of legend among fans. He exploded onto the producing scene with the releases of Airtight and Tell You, both of which became international hits.Airtight was nominated for a Juno Award in 2001.This success got some attention from the world dance music scene and Graham was asked to mix Tranceport CD #4, which was also met with huge success, and spurred a world tour in 2001.“Max Graham has had been exposed to all kinds of sub-cultures from skateboarding in LA, to graffiti artists and scratching in New York. He may be a House DJ but somewhere or the other, you are going to see some of those influences coming into his music.
