Flipkart launches scheduled delivery for time-constrained customers

New Delhi: Following up on the rollout of its Flipkart First service, Flipkart announced the launch of its scheduled delivery service in four cities - Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata. Flipkart says the service would also be extended to other cities soon.

Under scheduled delivery Flipkart customers choose a specific date and time for delivery of their order the delivery slots can be as early as the next day. This service would be available free of cost and will be initially available only for the large appliances category.

Flipkart says it will also soon offer customers installation along with delivery during the pre-selected slots.
