PARADIP: Anti-Posco leader Abhaya Sahu’s arrest seems to have taken things back to square one at the proposed Posco site. On Friday to avert any untoward incident in the proposed areas, four platoons of police force took out a flag march in Dhinkia village on Friday. This was necessitated as State and national level leaders and activists are camping in the village to express their solidarity with Sahu and are holding meetings, said Jagatsinghpur SP S. Devadutta Singh.Simultaneously, the district administration geared up for construction of coastal road in the village even as anti-Posco activists sealed all routes leading to Dhinkia by erecting bamboo gates at five places to prevent entry of officials.Paradip Additional District Magistrate Surjeet Das said, “If the people of Dhinkia don’t cooperate, we will be compelled to use force to expedite construction of costal road.”
