Engineering student run over

BHUBANESWAR: Tension prevailed at Hi-Tech Medical College and Hospital after an engineering student, who was injured in a road mishap, died in the hospital on Wednesday evening.Fellow students accused the hospital authorities of not attending to the victim, Nitesh Kumar, on time. Police reached the spot and tried to pacify the students.Police said Nitesh was crossing the road when he was hit by a bike. He lost balance and fell on the road when a Tata Ace hit him, injuring him critically. He was taken to the hospital but succumbed to the injuries.
