Engineer Pankaj Kumar was supervising the construction of a bridge at Sumandi village under Bundu police station of Ranchi district when suspected rebels took him away on Thursday night, Senior Superintendent of Police Bhimsen Tuti said.
Police have launched raids to locate the engineer, he added.
