Mumbai: Vidya Balan has asked you to switch off the lights on March 26 for one hour at 8.30 pm.

"Let there be light, but the light for your love, forever," said Vidya Balan.

She is endorsing Earth Hour this year - a worldwide environmental campaign designed to address the problem of climate change.

"This is something that I subscribe to; this is something that I believe in that energy conservation. And so it seemed like a perfect match," said Vidya.

After the back to back success of 'Ishqiya' and 'No One Killed Jessica', the actress is now looking forward to Sujoy Ghosh's 'Kahani'.

"I am extremely excited about it. It's shot entirely in Calcutta. And I play a pregnant woman. I have enjoyed it thoroughly also because it was such a taut script," said Vidya.

These days she is also making headlines for her much talked about new boyfriend, UTV's Head Honcho Siddharth Roy Kapoor. But when asked to comment on her relationship status, she smartly avoided it.

"If he switches off all the lights on 26th, I shall become a friend of him. If there is a SRK amongst you, I shall become a friend of him also," said Vidya.

We hope that Siddharth will happily oblige.

What's your reaction?
