WARANGAL: The first chief minister camp office referral centre (CMOC) in Telangana will be set up in Warangal.
It will be set up in the 1,000 bedded Mahatma Gandhi Memorial (MGM) hospital and efforts are on to begin it in 15 days.By setting up the centre in MGM, officials will be able to accept applications from patients seeking aid from the chief minister's relief fund and send it directly to the CM's camp office.

Patients without white ration cards and Arogyasri cards and pink ration card holders with an income of Rs 60,000 are eligible to apply for the relief fund.

Once the centre is set up, patients need not go to Hyderabad. They can apply and also find out the status of applications at the centre itself. Details of patients whose applications were accepted and those whose appeals were rejected will also be available. Patients from Khammam, Karimnagar, Adilabad and Nalgonda districts obtain treatment.
