SANGAREDDY: Separate Telangana will be a reality only if TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao is chased away from the region,” said Telangana Telugu Desam Forum convener Errabelli Dayakar Rao has said.Dayakar Rao accused the TRS chief of staging a drama for separate Telangana while not uttering anything about it in the Parliament during this tenure as an MP. “Moreover, he does not criticise the AICC chief though she is the main hurdle in formation of separate Telangana,” the TD leader pointed out.He urged people to understand the TTDF’s logic in abstaining from contesting in polls. “The Centre will yield with regard to T only if political parties boycott polls,” he said, adding that there would be no use resigning and contesting polls time and again.“If Chandrasekhar Rao has no vested interests, why is he frequently asking for resignations and elections?,” Dayakar Rao questioned.The TRS activists obstructed the bus yatra taken up by the Telangana TDP leaders on Thursday between Damaracheruvu of Ramayampet mandal in Medak district and Baswapur village in Nizamabad district.The pink party activists hurled stones and eggs on the TD leaders’ vehicle. In retaliation, the TD cadre got down the bus and attacked the TRS men which led to some tense moments.In the melee, Kamareddy CI Prakash Yadav suffered head injuries.Soon police arrested the 18 MLAs, two MLCs and other prominent leaders of the TDP, participating in the yatra, and shifted them to Ramayampet police station.
