CHENNAI: The web site for the kids of Chennai, www.yocee.in has launched its annual Student Reporter Programme for the sixth consecutive year. Students studying in Classes 6 to 12 in any school in Chennai will be eligible to apply for this year long programme. The website is selecting 25 reporters across city schools for the academic year.The selected reporters will be set on the field after a briefing session. They will get exciting opportunities to report events from their school campuses and from their residential locality, interview authors / storytellers / artists and children who have excelled in extra curricular activities.The reports filed by the student reporters will be published on the website with their bylines and will also receive a certificate at the end of the year.Sessions for enhancing their writing and reporting skills will be held throughout the year. The programme is free for all participants and the last day for registration is May 19, 2012.
