HYDERABAD: After a gap of two months the state cabinet will meet at the chief minister's camp office at Begumpet here on Tuesday.  This will, perhaps, be the first cabinet meeting to be held outside the Secretariat and at the chief minister's camp office. The last cabinet meeting was held on June 16 and the chief minister could not hold another in the wake of the resignations by Telangana ministers  on July 4.Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy decided to hold the cabinet meeting at his camp office to ensure attendance of Telangana ministers who insisted that they would attend the meeting only if it was conducted outside the Secretariat. According to sources, several files are awaiting cabinet's clearance. The chief minister wanted to avoid sending wrong signals on administrative matters and persuaded the Telangana minister to attend the meeting. On the other hand, the Telangana Joint Action Committee has warned the  ministers against attending the meeting. They wanted the ministers to refrain from any official work including attending the cabinet meeting as they resigned to the posts. The Telangana Congress Steering Committee also expressed similar views and asked the ministers to keep off official work. However, it is not clear as to how many Telangana ministers will attend the cabinet meeting. Ministers Ponnala Lakshmaiah, J Geeta Reddy, K Venkat Reddy and Basvaraj Saraiah have declared that they will keep away from the meeting and stick to the resignation from the cabinet. Though seven other ministers have not confirmed attendance, a majority of them are expected to turn up as chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy personally appealed to them.Meanwhile, officials said there were several files awaiting clearance by the cabinet including those pertaining to ratification of the decisions taken in the recent past. Some of the issues expected to come up for discussion at the meeting include arrangements for the Rajiv Education and Employment Mission to be launched on August 20 and the measures to make farmers who have already gone on crop holiday in East Godavari district, go in for early Rabi crop.
