New Delhi: Boney Kapoor's ex-wife Mona Kapoor passed away on March 25, in Mumbai. She had been diagnosed with cancer and was undergoing treatment at Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai.
Mona Kapoor passed away due to multiple organ failure. She is survived by her son Arjun and daughter Anshula.
According to media reports - her children had sent out frantic messages earlier this morning asking people to donate O+ blood for their mother’s surgery at the Hinduja hospital scheduled for Monday.
Mona Kapoor was the CEO of Future Studios and very active on Twitter. Future Studios is the largest ready to shoot, fully furnished, indoor shooting studio in Mumbai.
With the news of her death Bollywood stars expressed their condolences for the lady they called 'strong' and 'loving'.
Priety Zinta tweeted - "R.I.P Mona Kapoor ! May her soul rest in peace. I did not know her personally, but I hear she was a brave woman of substance !"
Shekhar Kapur tweeted - "Will always remember Mona Kapoor for her kindness and gentleness. Known her since she first met Boney Kapoor"

Mona Kapoor's son - Arjun Kapoor is just about to make his debut in Bollywood with 'Ishaqzaade' opposite Parineeti Chopra. The movie is scheduled for a May 2012 release.
Boney Kapoor is now married to Sridevi and has two daughters.
