Bike rider charred to death

CHIKMAGALUR: A private tourist bus coming from Dharmasthala and a speeding motor cycle collided near Mavinaguni of Vastare hobli in the taluk on Wednesday evening, charring to death the rider who is yet to be identified.The motor bike tank burst into flames which spread to the bus, but the passengers had a providential escape. The seriously injured pillion rider was admitted to Aldur hospital. The two youths were riding at breakneck speed. Since the road from Vastare to Mudigere is winding, they failed to see the bus. The bus was reduced to ashes. Police have have registered a case.
