NELLORE: Expressing displeasure over the functioning of the state government, TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu has said that the present political uncertainty may lead to elections any time.
"The rank and file of the party should be prepared to face the elections whenever they are held," Naidu exhorted the party leaders at a meeting here on Wednesday."I doubt whether there is any government running in the state. Party leaders should take it as an opportunity and go to the people and expose the failures of the government," Naidu said.

Naidu directed the party leaders to tour at least ten days in villages every month. Asserting that Jagan's party would anyway merge with the Congress, he said TDP is the only alternative to the Congress.

TDP district leader Vonteru Venugopala Reddy informed Naidu that they was no groupism in the district and they were all working unitedly. Responding to this, Naidu said TDP had lost some seats in the 2009 elections due to group rivalry in districts.
