VELLORE: The body of the deputy manager of Arakkonam town’s Co-operative Bank was found with his head severed at a railway track near Arakkonam on Wednesday evening.Giri alias Krishnagiri (57) of Jothinagar in Arakkonam was found dead at the tracks near Mangammapettai near Arakkonam.The Arakkonam railway police have sent the body to Arakkonam Government Hospital for postmortem. Police have filed a case in this connection and are conducting an investigation. Sources said that Krishnagiri must have been hit by a train when he tried to cross the railway tracks. However, it is still unclear if the death was accidental or if it is a case of suicide.
