SIGHT AMBASSADORS -the FIRST ever social media app for EYE DONATION was launched, as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility. This application was launched during an eye donation event in Anna University.
The 'Sight Ambassadors' app received more than 200 applications from students and members of Society of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Anna University on day 1 and today stands at more than 1000 pledges.
In an innovative effort to rope in more eye donors, Vasan Eye Care launched this application on its Facebook page, and those wishing to donate their eyes can do so by filling out the online pledge form at vasanhealth
This unique thought also got featured with a special mention in the prestigious BMJ - British Medical Journal.
