UDHAGAMANDALAM: Sleuths of Archaeology Department, raided the farm house of Malayalam actor Mohanlal in Lovedale on Wednesday and seized antiques that were kept as his collections.Acting on a tip-off that the actor had antiques, a team of eight officers raided his farm house and found a set of four guns, which were 100 years old and two golden statues. During the raid, which lasted 10 hours, the sleuths discovered that the actor had bought them from a Tiruvananthapuram royal family.However, as these objects of antiquity cannot be evaluated at once, the sleuths have kept them inside a room and sealed it.The details about the objects and how the actor purchased them would be available only after investigation which is expected to last for 10 days, sources said.
