THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: ABVP has called for a state-wide education bandh on June 16 in protest against what it called the unholy alliance among the State Government, private managements and Inter-Church Council.The youth organisation demanded that admissions to 50 percent of the total seats in all the self-financing colleges should be carried out from the entrance test conducted by the State Government. “The strike call has been given in the wake of extensive commercialisation in the education sector in the state,” ABVP leader Aneesh Kumar said in a press conference here.
