Exhibitions in one’s city are a perfect way to get hold of stuff from other cities in the country without any hassle. One such exhibition is Melange, that kick started at Taj Krishna on Tuesday, with Hyderabadi fashionistas crammed into the venue, hands full of shopping bags, wanting to lay their hands on as many pretty things as possible. The exhibition showcased a larger variety of items --- right from ethnic wear is bright colours and bold prints, to jewellery, accessories, footwear, bags, tunics and also kids wear. Some stalls also showcased sarees ranging in cotton, silk and more. Melange was a complete shopping fiesta where in designers and artists had come from cities like Mumbai, Kolkatta and of course Hyderabad. The exhibition had a wide range of sarees from Lemon Tree, Exclusif, Manju’s Collection, Colours N Textures, among others. Also showcased were fashion and diamond jewellery by White Orchid, Boond, Rumi Creations, Kriti Jewels and a lot more. This exhibition was not only a platform for designers and artists across India, but also has a noble cause attached to it --- Melange has joined hands with Heal-a- Child, with a hope to be able to help children who are in need of medical aid. This two-day exhibition will conclude today at Taj Krishna.
