BANGALORE: The students of Shaurya Army Pre-school along with their teachers visited the residents of Nava Chaitanya Old Age Home, Banaswadi in Bangalore recently. The children took along with them baskets of fruits which they personally distributed to every resident. The visit was received with a torrent of emotions by the residents. On one hand some were extremely happy and enjoyed the company of the visitors immensely, whereas other went on a nostalgic trip down the lane as they were reminded of their own little ones. The programme presented by the children in which they sang nursery rhymes and danced was received with smiles and moist eyes. Bidding farewell was an emotional affair for both the parties. The elders appreciated the thought behind the visit and enthusiasm shown by the children in respecting their elders holding aloft the moral values inculcated in them by the dedicated staff of the school.
