341 old buildings to be demolished

HYDERABAD: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) commissioner, Sameer Sharma has directed the deputy commissioners and assistant city planners of all 18 circles to immediately demolish 341 leftover dangerous dilapidated structures and take follow up action as per the power delegated to them.All these 341 dangerous structure are found in the erstwhile Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad (MCH) limits. The include  57 buildings in Circle-I, 61 in Circle-II, 27 in Circle-III, 14 in Circle-IV), 24 in Circle-V, 57 buildings in Circle-VI and 101 in Circle-VII.Sharma said as the monsoon season is going to arrive shortly, there is a possibility of these dilapidated structures collapsing. He also directed officials to submit a fresh list of dilapidated buildings till present.
