The police wants to question 26/11 terrorist Ajmal Kasab with regard to the key handler of the attacks, Abu Jundal and his confessions.
Mumbai: The Mumbai Crime Branch on Monday sought permission from the Maharashtra government to question 26/11 terrorist Ajmal Kasab with regard to the key handler of the attacks, Abu Jundal and his confessions.
Arrested in May this year, Jundal has been revealing various details of the 2008 Mumbai attacks plot, saying that Kasab was one of their best men.
Meanwhile, sources have said that Indian security agencies were able to get hold of Jundal, with the help of inputs from Kasab.
Sources also say that Jundal's photograph was discreetly sent to Kasab to identify him. Kasab is currently lodged in the high-security Arthur Road jail in Mumbai.
