19 in fray for GHMC polls

HYDERABAD: The elections for the 15-member standing committee of GHMC will be held on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Face to Face Hall and Library in the corporation’s head office. All the 150 corporators of GHMC are entitled to vote.  Over 19 corporators, belonging to different political parties, are in the fray.  Counting will be done immediately after polling and results will be announced on Wednesday evening.Of the 150 members in GHMC, the Congress has 52 members, TDP 45, MIM 43, BJP has 5 members.
