CHENNAI: Continuing with its efforts of rounding up illegal immigrants and sending them back before the start of the Haj pilgrimage season, the government of Saudi Arabia on Thursday deported over 100 Indians for not possessing valid documents to stay there.According to available information, the deported Indians reached the Anna International Airport, Chennai, by a Saudi Airlines flight in the wee hours of Thursday.The exact number of deportees could not be verified as the Indian Embassy officials in the kingdom were on a weekly holiday and an e-mail for confirmation remained unanswered.About 10 days ago, 86 Indians had landed in Chennai after Saudi Arabia deported them for not possessing valid documents.
