Why Actor Nithin’s Comments On His Extra Ordinary Man Co-star Sreeleela Are Viral

South actress Sreeleela is basking in the success of her recent film Bhagavanth Kesari. Her role as the daughter of Telugu star Nandamuri Balakrishna earned her much acclaim. The US born actress, who debuted with the Kannada film Kiss, has some more interesting projects in her kitty. She has Guntur Kaaram with Mahesh Babu, Ustad Bhagat Singh with Pawan Kalyan and Extra Ordinary Man with Nithiin. Of all these upcoming films, Extra Ordinary Man has completed its filming, while the others are still in production.

The team of Extra Ordinary Man are now making tours around the state to actively promote the film. During one promotional event, Nithiin reportedly spoke about Sreeleela’s role in the film. According to reports, he said that Sreeleela is playing the typical commercial heroine in a mass movie and that he has romantic scenes with her in the film. Since he is 40 years old and Sreeleela is half his age, Nithiin’s comments have gone viral, considering the age gap. Fans have opined that it is very common in South Indian cinema for actresses to be paired opposite elderly leading men.

Recently, a mass song from Extra Ordinary Man — with Nithiin and Sreeleela matching steps together under the choreography of Jani master with more than 300 female dancers — was shot. The shoot took place in a specially-designed huge set in Shamshabad (Telangana). With the completion of the filming of the song, the shooting for the film wrapped up. The engaging trailer and the two singles that have already been released have received amazing feedback.

Extra Ordinary Man’s director Vakkantham Vamsi promises the film will be an out-and-out entertainer and will be a character-based story. The movie was initially scheduled for release on December 23, 2023; but to avoid clashing with Prabhas’ Salaar, it has been preponed and will now release on December 8, 2023.

Sreeleela has now joined the list of the highest-paid actresses in the South film industry, reports suggest. Reportedly, Sreeleela is now charging Rs 2 crore for a film. She has joined the likes of Pooja Hegde, Rashmika Mandanna, Tamannaah Bhatia and Rakul Preet Singh, as one of the highest-paid South actresses.
