Actor-comedian Kiraak RP Ties The Knot With Girlfriend Lakshmi Prasanna

Actor and comedian Kiraak RP of the popular comedy show Jabardasth fame got married to his girlfriend Lakshmi Prasanna. They tied the nuptial knot in a secret wedding ceremony on a beach in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The family members and relatives from both sides attended this ceremony, as per reports.

Many celebrities from the film industry also participated in this wedding ceremony. One of the social media users, named Niharika D Nrj uploaded an Instagram reel showing the occasion. The reel shows a tastefully decorated wedding pandal and everyone enjoying the wedding. The user Niharika D Nrj attached the track Kundanapu Bomma to the reel. For those who don’t know, this song is from the film Yemaaya Chesave. Benny Dayal and Kalyani Menon have provided their vocals to this track composed by AR Rahman.

The user shared some other glimpses from the wedding as well. The reel shows Lakshmi Prasanna taking part in one of the wedding rituals. She and other ladies at the occasion pour their hands into a pot filled with water.

Kiraak and Lakshmi got engaged in May after knowing each other for quite some time. Their love story blossomed when Lakshmi was taking coaching for the civil service examination. Kiraak once went to that institute as a guest and fell in love with Lakshmi after watching her. He asked for Lakshmi’s phone number. In a hilarious turn of events, she gave her mother’s phone number to Kiraak.

Kiraak took this chance to form a good rapport with Lakshmi’s mother. In an interview, he said that initially, Lakshmi’s family members were apprehensive about the idea of their marriage. It is because he is from the film industry. He, however, convinced them for 2 years before they agreed to their marriage.

Kiraak catapulted to fame with his witty character sketches in the comedy show Jabardasth. Later, he went on a sabbatical, for his debut directorial venture. Kiraak once claimed that he always aspired to become a film director.
