Clearing All Your Autofill Data
Decide if you want to erase all your autofill data. This method will clear everything. It's the easiest way to clear your saved search entries, but it's a bulk tool, so it deletes the autofill for all websites, not just wikiHow.
Delete your autofill data in Firefox. Select the three horizontal bars at the top right of your browser. Select Preferences. Select Privacy & Security from the left bar. Scroll down to History and select Clear History... Uncheck everything except Form and search history and select your time range to clear from the drop-down menu. Select Clear now.
Delete your autofill history in Chrome. Select the three vertical dots at the top right of your browser. Hit More Tools.... Select Clear Browsing Data.... Switch to the Advanced tab. Uncheck everything except Autofill form data and select your time range to clear from the drop-down menu. Select Clear data.
Delete your autofill data in Safari. Select Safari from the top menu bar. Choose Preferences. Switch to the Autofill tab. Hit Edit... next to Other forms. Select Remove All. Alternatively, you can select just ".wikiHow.com" on the list and hit Remove.
Delete your autofill data on Microsoft Edge. Select the three horizontal dots in the top right corner to open your settings. Hit Settings. Go to the Privacy & security section. Click the Choose What to Clear. Ensure that Autofill data (includes forms and cards) is checked Windows Checked. Click the Clear button.
Deleting Specific Autofill Data
Decide if you want to remove only specific autofill data. If you want to delete a specific search, then this is for you. It involves deleting one autofill at a time, so it might take longer if you have several to remove. However, it is a better option for those who want certain entries to stay, rather than clearing everything out. Not all browsers offer this option. If yours doesn’t, try deleting all autofill data instead.
Remove a specific search entry on Firefox. Click into search bar labeled to do anything.... If the entry doesn't appear right away, beginning of the phrase/autofill data you want to delete. Using the arrow keys, navigate to the data you want to delete. It should be highlighted. Press Del (Windows) or ⇧ Shift+Del (Mac).

Turning Off Autofill
Decide if you want to turn autofill off altogether. If you don't want your device to fill in data in each text box from history, you can turn off auto fill. If you need it later, you can just turn it on again.
Disable autofill in Firefox. Select the three horizontal bars at the top right of your browser. Select Preferences. Select Privacy & Security from the left bar. Scroll down to History and select Use custom settings for history in the dropdown menu. Uncheck Remember search and form history. Click OK.
Turn off autofill on Chrome. Tap the three vertical dots in the top right corner to open your settings. Tap Settings. If you have several users on Chrome, click People, and then click your user name. Click Payment Methods. Toggle Autofill Forms so it's grey (disabled).
Disable autofill in Safari. Select Safari from the top menu bar. Choose Preferences. Switch to the Autofill tab. Uncheck the checkbox next to Other forms. Close the menu by hitting the red x in the circle at the top left.
Disable autofill on Microsoft Edge. Select the three horizontal dots in the top right corner to open your settings. Hit Settings. Click the Passwords & autofill section to the left. Toggle off Windows Switch Off "Save form data".
