Draw an oval for his head.Then, underneath the oval, draw a diagonal line. The diagonal line will give you a picture of how the shoulders will look.
Draw a cross on the oval. This will help you draw the face in symmetrically and it will also help you have an easier time with the facial features. Then, add a vertical guideline at the bottom of the image and add a line on either side of the head to help you draw his hair.
