Who Is Ruby Sear, BTS Member V's Co-Star In FRI(END)S Music Video
The teaser video of BTS' V upcoming music video FRI(END)S showed the singer with a new female lead.

Fans are eagerly waiting for BTS star V’s fresh digital single titled FRI(END)S. However, what now has become a talking point on the internet is the mysterious female lead in the FRI(END)S flash video. Coming days after V collaborated with IU for an amazing performance in the Love Wins All music video, his latest collaboration promises to be equally enchanting as he prepares to entertain the audience with his on-screen chemistry with a new co-star.

As soon as the teaser video came out, fans noticed the female lead appearing multiple times in the video either side by side with V or in pictures. Several combined visuals of the duo have been taking over the internet and widely shared across Instagram and X (formerly known as Twitter).

However, the question remains. Who is the new mystery girl that left ARMYs excited all over?

The mystery female lead in the FRI(END)S is a British actress Ruby Sear. Known for working in the ongoing series The Gentlemen, the 23-year-old Ruby portrays the role of Gabrielle, also shrouded in mystery.

Much like her persona in the show, Ruby Sear is completely surrounded by mystery in V’s music video, either falling for his character or breaking his heart in FRI(END)S.

The actress has become an overnight internet sensation with her striking visuals in the music teaser.

With fans already excited with the teaser video, ARMYs await to see more of their chemistry coming to life in the music video, which is set to drop on 15 March 2024.

In the meantime, the music video will mark the BTS vocalist’s first since he enlisted in the military for mandatory two years of service in December last year. Besides that, it is also V’s brand new solo material following his debut solo mini-album Layover in September 2023. He was also featured in IU’s music video Love Wins All as the male lead, struggling to survive in a dystopian world.
