Contacting Southwest Airlines Through Other Means

Send Southwest Airlines an email. You might need to email Southwest Airlines for a variety of different reasons, including complaints, comments or questions, and compliments. You can also use this contact method to change the name on your Rapid Rewards account, and submit a reimbursement request if your travel was disrupted. Simply visit this page, and select the reason why you're emailing. You will then be directed to provide further information about the nature of your email. After that, you'll be able to fill out a form to provide additional information. This form is not the best contact method for urgent concerns, as a response may take up to 10 days.

Write a letter to Southwest Airlines. While this contact method probably isn't best for urgent issues, if you'd like to send a letter to Southwest Airlines, you can do so using the following address: P.O. Box 36647-1CR, Dallas, Texas 75235

Send Southwest Airlines a message on Twitter. Southwest Airlines allows guests to tag them in Twitter comments if they need assistance. This can be a great option if you're having trouble reaching someone by phone. Simply tag their account, @SouthwestAir, in your message, and someone should reach out either directing you to the appropriate location, or to fill out a Contact form.

Reach out to the team via Facebook DM. Southwest Airlines also allows guests to send them a direct message on Facebook. This contact method might be a good idea if you have a compliment or complaint to share.

Use Live Chat on the Southwest Airlines app if you have a Rapid Rewards account. Rapid Rewards members have access to Live Chat on the free Southwest Airlines mobile app, available for iOS and Android. To access Live Chat, make sure your app is upgraded to version 6.1.0 or 6.1+. Then, on the main menu located in the upper left-hand corner of your screen, select "Contact Us", followed by the "Chat" icon. You should then be able to ask your question to the Southwest Bot. If the Southwest Bot cannot answer your question, you should then be directed to Live Chat, with a Customer Service Representative. Keep in mind that Live Chat is not intended for every concern, and payment cannot be accepted through this feature. You can chat live with a Customer Service Representative seven days a week from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Central Standard Time.

Communicate with fellow travelers on The Southwest Airlines Community discussion board. While this is not a way to reach Customer Service Representatives, this contact method is a good idea if you'd like other traveler's advice or guidance on something related to Southwest Airlines.

Speak to someone directly if you're at the airport. This is the quickest way to get a response if you're still at the airport. Simply locate the nearest Southwest Airlines customer service desk, and ask your question. Whether you need to rebook a flight, or print your boarding pass, these Customer Service Representatives should be able to help.
