  • Use YouTube Studio to manage your channel, create playlists, and grow your monetization efforts.

Access YouTube Studio

Log in to your YouTube account. Open www.youtube.com in your web browser. If you’re not already logged in to your account, click SIGN IN to do so.

Click on your profile picture in the top-right corner of the page. When you click on it, a drop-down menu will appear.

Select YouTube Studio from the drop-down menu. This will open YouTube Studio. Monetizing creators will need to complete a two-step authentication at this time. This is required each time you open YouTube Studio via a monetized channel. Alternatively, go directly to https://studio.youtube.com in order to access YouTube Studio. Bookmark the page to quickly access it again. Android and iPhone users can also download the YouTube Studio app to manage their channel via their mobile device. The YouTube Create app is also exclusive to Androids, allowing users to edit videos straight from their phone.

Use YouTube Studio

Add a new video via your Dashboard. From the YouTube Studio Dashboard, click Upload Videos to begin uploading new content to your channel.

Manage existing videos via the Content tab. Select Content in the left-hand column of YouTube Studio to see all of your uploaded videos. You can also find any livestreams or community posts you have made in the past. Visit the Subtitles tab to add subtitles to your videos, or edit existing ones. Manage the comments on your videos by visiting the Comments tab. YouTube Studio lets you know which comments mention you, and which ones you may want to respond to specifically. Incoming copyright claims related to your uploaded videos can be found under the Copyright tab. Likewise, you may use this tab to submit removal requests for other videos.

Use the Analytics tab to help your channel grow. YouTube Studio provides several great tools and metrics to measure your channel's reach. Use the Analytics tab to track your channel's growth overtime and determine the best ways to continue your success.

Start monetizing your content with the Earn tab. If you already monetize your YouTube videos, use this tab to track your earnings and adjust your YouTube membership. Otherwise, you can set up a membership here and begin your earning adventure.

Improve your channel with customization and audio library options. The Customization tab allows you to tailor your channel to your exact specifications, adding a trailer or header for visitors, or adjusting the layout. The Audio Library also includes several free songs and sound effects that you can download and add to your next video.
