Sana Makbul has made a strong statement against her Bigg Boss OTT 3 co-contestant Ranvir Shorey. The actress, who emerged as the winner of the controversial reality show on Friday night, spoke exclusively to News18 Showsha following her win when she slammed Ranvir and accused him of dominating women.
Reacting to Ranvir Shorey’s comment that Sana did not deserve to win Bigg Boss OTT 3, the actress said, “When somebody loses, this is what they say. I think people often target strong women. I just want to tell Ranvir (Shorey) ji that the trophy is in my hands and I have won the show. Please wake up."
Sana Makbul and Ranvir Shorey’s rivalry was one of the major highlights of the season. They were always at loggerheads and were often seen getting into ugly fights with each other. During one of their heated arguments, Ranvir had also called Sana a ‘gutterchaap’. Recalling the same, Sana told us that she lost respect for the actor the day he made derogatory comments against her.
“When he questioned my class and called me a ‘gutterchaap’, it wasn’t expected from him. He said this and after that, I stopped respecting him. I feel bad for the way I spoke to him but I think he deserves it," she said.
Sana further lashed out at Ranvir and called him a ‘male chauvinist’ person. “I do feel that strong-headed women are targeted in our society, especially when men like Ranvir ji are so male chauvinist and narcissistic. Voh chaheinge ke ladkiya unke neeche dab ke rahe (they want women to follow their orders) but the world is changed and you can’t dominate women. Strong women like me are head high," she said.
Besides the Bigg Boss OTT 3 trophy, Sana Makbul also took home a cash prize of Rs 25 lakh. While Sana won the show, Naezy was the first runner-up followed by Ranvir Shorey, Sai Ketan Rao and Kritika Malik.
