Halle Berry Blasts Drake For Using Slime Photo Without Permission
Halle Berry has also dropped a cryptic post on Instagram, highlighting her ongoing issue with Drake.

Halle Berry is back in the headlines for her stern comments on Canadian rapper and singer Drake. Halle slammed Drake for using one of her pictures without her permission. The photo featured Halle covered in green slime, from the time she attended the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards in 2012. The slime was dumped on her for fun. However, the Catwoman actress alleged that Drake was wrong in using her slime-smeared photo as a cover art for the promotion of his new single Slime You Out, featuring American singer-songwriter SZA. Now, when an individual wanted to know why Halle was making such a big deal about it, the actress shared some additional information.

On September 15, Halle Berry dropped a cryptic post on Instagram, highlighting her ongoing issue with Drake. “Sometimes you have to be a bigger guy… even if you are a woman.” she wrote. In this post, a social media user asked Halle since her slime-covered photo was already available at Getty Images, what was she mad about? “While I do understand your side, that photo is owned by Getty Images. So I’m sure he (Drake) got their permission and paid the fee. Why are you mad?” they asked.

In her reply, Halle Berry did not mince back her words as she wrote that before using her photograph as a cover art, she had already told Drake not to use it. However, despite her clear statement, the rapper failed to respect her words which was why she was so angry. “Cuz he asked me and I said NO that’s why. Why ask if you intend to do what you want to do? Not cool. You get it?” penned Halle in response to the social media user.

Responding to one of the fans who came out in support of her, the actress wrote, “He (Drake) did have his people call my people and I said NO. I didn’t like that image of slime all over my face in association with his song. And he chose to do it anyway. You see… that is the disrespect. Not cool.”

Meanwhile, Drake has not yet made any statement. In a now-disappeared Instagram Stories, Drake shared a cryptic image with a supposedly hidden message. The rapper flaunted the back of his T-shirt emblazoned with the words, “What the hell is going on?” “Literally tho…” he captioned the post.
