Asian Champions Trophy: Pakistan Hockey Players Seen Waving Flags of China Against India in Final
The Indian men's hockey team did congratulate the Pakistan players after their third-place finish in the Asian Champions Trophy.

The Pakistan men’s hockey team was seen waving the flag of China as the hosts faced India in the final of the Asian Champions Trophy at the Moqi Training Base in Hulunbuir on Tuesday. The Indian men’s hockey team did congratulate their Pakistani counterparts after their third-place finish.

In the end, defending champions India eked out a fighting 1-0 win over China to claim their fifth Asian Champions Trophy hockey title.

It was not easy for the favourites and Paris Olympics bronze medallist as they failed to break the Chinese defence in the first three quarters.

Eventually, defender Jugraj Singh broke the deadlock as he scored a rare field goal in the 51st minute to hand his team the title.

Earlier in the day, Pakistan defeated Korea 5-2 to claim the third spot in the six-team competition.

China had stunned Pakistan 2-0 in the shootout, after their semi-final ended 1-1 in regulation time, to enter the final.

Indi had defeated Pakistan 2-1 in their meeting earlier in the tournament.
