Barcelona: Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola has laughed off rumours that he could leave the club for Chelsea to replace recently dismissed manager Andre Villas-Boas at Stamford Bridge.
The Portuguese manager was fired at the weekend following the club's disappointing results in the 2011-12 campaign, and a number of reports from England suggest that Guardiola is one of the top candidates to take Villas-Boas' position.
Nevertheless, the successful Barca coach has sarcastically dismissed reports that he could be on his way to the Premier League.
"Yes, yes, sure, I speak to Chelsea every day," joked Guardiola when asked about the alleged Chelsea interest by reporters at his press conference on Tuesday.
The Barcelona boss then went on to praise Villas-Boas, while admitting it was all about results in modern football.
"He's a fantastic coach, but results are the most important thing in football."
Rival club Real Madrid's coach Jose Mourinho has also been linked with a return to Chelsea, having left in 2007 after becoming the most successful manager in the club's history.
Several other managers have also been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, including former Liverpool and Inter Milan boss Rafael Benitez and Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp.
First-team coach Roberto Di Matteo, a former Chelsea player and West Bromwich Albion manager, has taken charge of the Blues until the end of a season.
