Chandrika Gera Dixit, widely recognised as the “Vada Pav Girl”, has made it to the Bigg Boss OTT 3 house. Known for her Vada Pav stall in Delhi’s Sainik Vihar, Gera entered the controversial reality show on Friday night. However, before her entry, News18 Showsha spoke exclusively to Chandrika and she revealed that she thought it was a ‘fraud’ when she was approached for Anil Kapoor-hosted show.
“I took a lot of time to accept the Bigg Boss OTT 3 offer. I wanted to check if it wasn’t a fraud. I had to figure out how the business would be managed in my absence and how my children would be taken care of. I thought about everything else before accepting the offer,” Gera told us.
She further revealed that she hadn’t planned anything for Bigg Boss because she believes in living in the present. However, she sent a stern warning to her co-contestants saying she would behave with them, the way they would treat her. “I do not plan things in advance. I believe in living in the present. I do not plan things. When I enter the show, I will analyse everything and then figure out what to do. It is not like, a person who is loving me will be slapped or screamed at. Such people will always be hugged,” she said.
Chandrika Gera Dixit further called out those who call her “arrogant” and argued, “If presenting your opinion is being arrogant, then, yes, I am arrogant. I like to take a stand for myself. If somebody is telling me something, I would like to tell him my views also. He should listen to that too. If calling out the wrong is considered arrogant then I am arrogant.”
“It will be fun. I want people to know who Chandrika is. If somebody will talk to me nicely, I will be the same with them. If somebody tries to say something about my business or my child, I will deal with them accordingly. Pyaar ka jawab pyaar se, nafrat ka jawan nafrat se,” she concluded.
