UPSC CAPF Recruitment 2024: The exam will be conducted in two shifts: Paper I from 10 am to noon and Paper II from 2 pm to 5 pm.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) (ACs) examination will be conducted tomorrow, August 4. The exam will be conducted in two shifts: Paper I from 10 am to noon and Paper II from 2 pm to 5 pm.

The Paper I exam is on General Ability and Intelligence and the Paper II examination is on General Studies, Essay, and Comprehension. The process that is adopted by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment in these posts is the Preliminary Examination, Mains Examination, Personality Test, or Interview.

UPSC CAPF 2024 Exam: Items Allowed/ Not Allowed

As per the exam guidelines, candidates must carry a clipboard or hardboard (on which nothing is written), and a good quality blackball pen for making responses on the answer sheet. They must not forget to carry their admit cards and a government-issued ID card such as Aadhar, PAN, or voter card.

They are not allowed to carry any books, notes, loose sheets, electronic or any other type of calculators, mathematical and drawing instruments, log tables, stencils of maps, slide rules, test booklets, or rough sheets. Mobile phones or any other communication devices are not allowed inside the premises where the examination is being conducted.

The recruitment drive aims to fill 506 vacancies across several armed police forces. 186 vacancies are open for the Border Security Force (BSF), 120 seats are allotted for the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), 100 seats are allotted for the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), 42 seats are allotted for Sahastra Seema Bal (SSB), and 58 seats are open for Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP).

To be eligible, candidates must hold a degree from any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or any other educational institution established by the Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possessing any equivalent qualification.

The physical requisites for the Civil Services Posts are strict as the job is physically demanding and challenging. The Civil Services examination schedule is now available on the official website for candidates who are willing to apply.
