The application window is now open for several positions in the Uttar Pradesh Police. The recruitment process is set to commence on January 7 and the last date is January 28. The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has initiated direct recruitment for 930 Computer Operator Grade ‘A’ positions and 55 Programmer Grade ‘B’ positions within the state police force.
According to DG Renuka Mishra, the Chairperson of the Board, both male and female candidates are eligible to apply online for these positions from January 7 to January 28. Interested candidates can find detailed information on the official website uppbpb.gov.in. Emphasising that the application process is exclusively online, Mishra specified that candidates for the Computer Operator position must be between 18 and 28 years old, holding an Intermediate qualification in Physics and Mathematics subjects, along with passing the ‘O’ level examination in Computer. Similarly, candidates for the Programmer position should be aged between 21 and 30, with a mandatory graduation qualification and successful completion of an ‘A’ level computer examination
The application fee for both positions is set at Rs 400, and the written examination will be conducted online. Mishra urged candidates to pay close attention to the rules outlined by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board during the application process.
In addition to these job opportunities, the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board recently issued a notification for constable recruitment in the state, providing a significant chance for both male and female candidates aspiring to build their careers in the UP Police Department.
