SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2025: The commission is expected to recruit for more than 50000 vacancies. Last time, a total of 75768 posts were notified by SSC.

The Staff Selection Commission or SSC will release the notification for the SSC Constable (GD) Constable Recruitment 2025 on August 27 (Tuesday). The application process for the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), NIA, SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in the Assam Rifles Examination 2025 will likely commence on the same day. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to register on the official website of the commission at ssc.nic.in. The last date to apply is October 5.

The commission is expected to recruit for more than 50000 vacancies. Last time, a total of 75768 posts were notified by SSC.

The exam will be conducted in January-February 2025 in a Computer Based Examination (CBE) in English and Hindi mediums. It consists of a negative marking of 0.50 marks for every wrong answer. Those who clear the CBE will next have to appear for a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), medical examination, and document verification.

SSC GD Constable Recruitment: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have cleared matriculation or class 10 examination or equivalent from a recognised board or university.

Age limit: The applicants must be between 18 to 23 years of age as of August 1 of the year the notification is released. Age relaxation is applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories.

SSC GD Constable Recruitment: Application fees

The application fee for the SSC GD Constable recruitment exam is Rs. 100. Women candidates and those belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Ex-servicemen (ESM) are exempted from payment of fee.

Candidates who clear the selection process will be posted for the job roles of Constable (General Duty) in the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Secretariat Security Force (SSF), Sepoy in NIA (National Investigation Agency) and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles (AR).
