The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will soon release the admission card for the NEET MDS 2024. Eligible applicants will be able to download their hall tickets from the official website nbe.edu.in starting tomorrow, March 15. The admit card will provide vital information such as the candidate’s name, exam centre, and other details.

The exam is scheduled to be conducted on March 18, 2024. NEET MDS is a test for admission to several MDS courses under the Dentists Act of 1948. The exam would be conducted on a computer-based platform at numerous examination centres across India. The exam is an eligibility and ranking-based entrance exam for students applying to various dentistry or MDS programmes. The results will be available by April 18.

How To Download NEET MDS 2024 Admit Card?

Step 1 – Visit the official website, natboard.edu.in.

Step 2 – Click on the NEET MDS 2023 admission card link.

Step 3 – Fill up your login information and submit.

Step 4 – Check and download your admission card.

Step 5 – Keep a hard copy for future reference.

Candidates could apply for the exam if they had a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from any institute registered with the State Dental Council, either provisionally or permanently. Furthermore, a one-year mandatory rotational internship at an approved/recognized dentistry college is necessary. NBEMS completed the online registration procedure for NEET MDS 2024 on March 11.

This year, the NEET MDS exam fees decreased for all categories compared to the previous year. General and OBC applicants had to pay an examination fee of Rs 3500. While SC, ST, and PwD aspirants paid Rs 2500. The official notice stated, “Once submitted, applications could not be withdrawn and the fees would be refunded under any circumstances.” Furthermore, any claims for refund, revision, or carrying forward of the application fee will not be accepted.

Meanwhile, recently, it was speculated across social media that there was a paucity of exam centres for the National Entrance Cum Eligibility Test – Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) exam in the North East. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare addressed the matter on its official social media account. They explained that exam centres are available in the Northeast region. “With reference to some media reports suggesting there are no exam centres in the North East, it is clarified that there are NEET MDS examination centres in north-eastern states. There are exam centres in Shillong, Naharlagun, Kohima, Aizawl, Guwahati and Kolkata,” the Ministry of Health posted on X. (sic)
