The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has announced the tentative seat allocation results for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2024 counselling. Candidates can now check the results of the first round of KCET counselling on the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. The provisional seat allotment list provides details on the courses and institutions assigned to each candidate.

If there are any objections to the provisional allotment, candidates must submit their concerns along with a justification [email protected] August 30, 2024. The final allotment results will be published after reviewing and verifying these objections.

KCET Round 1 Seat Allotment: How to Check?

Step 1: Go to Karnataka CET’s official websitecetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

Step 2: Select the Admissions for KCET tab.

Step 3: To log in enter your CET number and click on the provisional allotment result.

Step 4: Check the seat allotment and download the preliminary allocation results for future use.

The results of the mock seat allocation for Round 2 were released on August 25, 2024, while the results of the mock seat allocation for Round 1 were released earlier on August 10, 2024. Through the KCET 2024 choice entry process, candidates could enter their preferences.

KCET Round 1 Seat Allotment: Key Rules to Follow

–– The seat allotment is provisional, and candidates should refrain from reporting to the assigned colleges at this stage.

–– Any specific concerns regarding the allotment must be submitted via email [email protected] noon on August 30, 2024. No objections will be accepted after this deadline.

–– The final seat allocation will be announced after reviewing and verifying any objections received.

–– The preliminary outcome reflects the options submitted by August 27, 2024, at 11 a.m.

–– Candidates must complete additional admission procedures and report to the assigned colleges with the necessary documentation after the final allotment results are announced.

–– The seat allocation covers various courses, including engineering, architecture, veterinary medicine, farm science, yoga, naturopathy, BSc (nursing), BPharma, PharmD, medical, dentistry, and AYUSH.
