Jharkhand Police Recruitment: Fewer Candidates Among Change in Rules After Death of 12 Aspirants
The Jharkhand Excise Constable Recruitment exam will now be conducted only between 5 am and 9 am.

Several changes are being implemented in the Jharkhand Police Constable Recruitment exam process, following the deaths of 12 candidates during the fitness test. Chief Minister Hemant Soren had previously ordered a three-day suspension of the recruitment, after which it was halted. However, the Jharkhand Excise Constable Recruitment exam will now be conducted only between 5 am and 9 am.

Additionally, a decision has been made to call only 1,500 candidates for the test each day. Previously, 2,000 candidates were called for the physical test at each selection centre, but with the revised schedule, the running process will be completed by 9 am.

The timing of the Jharkhand Excise Constable Recruitment process may now be extended, with the remaining candidates being called for physical examination in a sequential manner. A new schedule will be prepared accordingly, and candidates will be called based on that. Additionally, necessary provisions such as medical facilities, ambulances, medicines, and oxygen are being arranged at all selection centres.
