The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Main 2024 admit card for Session 1 today, January 20. As per the official brochure, the JEE Main admit card 2024 will be made available three days before the exam. Candidates must carry a hall ticket to enter the exam hall. Applicants for the JEE Main 2024 exam can download the admit card from the official website -jeemain.nta.ac.in.

To obtain the JEE Main 2024 admit card, candidates are required to enter their application number and password on the hall ticket download link. This essential document not only acts as an entry pass to the examination center but also encompasses vital details, including the candidate’s roll number, exam venue specifics, exam date and time, and crucial exam guidelines.

The NTA is set to organise JEE Main 2024 Session 1 at diverse centres across numerous cities nationwide and in 22 cities outside India. The examination is scheduled for January 24 (2nd Shift) for B.Arch. & B. Planning (Paper 2A & Paper 2B), and on January 27, 29, 30, 31, and February 1, 2024, for B.E./B.Tech. (Paper 1). The exam city slips were issued on January 12 for the January 24 exam and on January 17 for the BTech paper.

For an easy download, candidates are advised to follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Visit the official JEE Main 2024 website at jeemain.nta.ac.in.

Step 2: Use your application number and password to log in to your candidate portal.

Step 3: Click on the link for “JEE Main 2024 Session 1 Admit Card.”

Step 4: The NTA JEE admit card will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Download and print a hard copy of the JEE Main Hall ticket for future reference.

In addition to the admit card, candidates are reminded to carry a valid ID proof to the examination centre for verification purposes. Candidates must carefully read and adhere to the exam guidelines provided on the JEE Main admit card to ensure a smooth and orderly examination process.

As per a notification from the National Education Policy (NEP), the exam will be conducted in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. The JEE Main exam session-1 results are expected to be out in February, showcasing the achievement of a test conducted in 13 languages. The exam is computer-based and will be held in two shifts – the first shift runs from 9 am to 12 noon, and the second shift is scheduled from 3 pm to 6 pm.
