In UP, Schools To Remain Closed In These Districts On May 7 Due To Lok Sabha Elections
Most of the vehicles in the districts are engaged in duty on the day of voting for the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections.

With the beginning of May, children’s eyes are fixed on the holiday calendar and wait for the declaration of summer vacation. This year, apart from summer break, students are also getting some more holidays because of the Lok Sabha elections 2024 across the country.

Orders have already been given to keep schools closed during the seven phases of voting. Keeping this in mind, schools will remain closed in many districts of UP on Tuesday, May 7, 2024.

Most of the vehicles in the districts are engaged in the duty on the day of voting for the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections 2024. Also, the schools are allotted as voting centres in some areas. In such a situation, it will be difficult for the children to attend school, and the best option is to close the school in view of security.

Uttar Pradesh is considered an important state from the election point of view. Voting for the third phase of Lok Sabha elections 2024 will be held in 10 districts of UP on May 7, including Sambhal, Hathras, Agra, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Fatehpur Sikri, Mainpuri, Etah, Badaun, Amla and Bareilly. Schools will be closed on this occasion in all these districts of UP. Students and parents are advised to read the notice issued by their school carefully.

A holiday has been declared in many schools in Uttar Pradesh from May 6 to 8, 2024. Actually, most of the school buses, vans, and other vehicles are being used in the Lok Sabha elections 2024. In such a situation, it is not easy to pick up and drop off the children at school. Therefore, it would be better to get confirmation from the school authority about the holidays.

Summer vacation will be announced in Uttar Pradesh till May 13, 2024 and schools will be closed for at least a month.

Most of the states this year, including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Punjab, Haryana, West Bengal, and Delhi NCR, have received heatwave alerts. For this reason, several states have announced summer vacations and school timings have been changed.
