IIT Madras Recruitment 2024: Documents Required
Candidates are required to upload the following relevant documents in the specified sequence:
1. Certificates of educational qualifications, arranged chronologically i.e., SSLC, HSC, Diploma, UG Degree, PG Degree, Ph.D., along with mark sheets of all semesters/years demonstrating the required percentage for the post applied.
2. Certificate of Date of Birth (issued by Municipality, etc., or Matriculation/High School certificate).
3. Valid Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD/Ex-servicemen, etc.), if applicable.
4. Experience certificates should be arranged chronologically and presented in the proper format. This includes documents on the organization’s letterhead indicating the date of issue, name, designation, specific work period, and nature of duties, and signed by the Administrative Authority/Owner of the organisation along with their seal, validating the candidate’s eligibility for the applied post.
5. Salary certificates related to their experiences, with a breakdown of salary components, to facilitate comparison with the scales and pay of the Government specified for each post where necessary.
6. Proficiency certificates, if required, should be provided for desirable qualifications.
It is important to note that the prescribed qualifications are minimum requirements. Even if a candidate possesses higher qualifications, they must meet the minimum requirements specified for the post to be considered. Mere possession of higher qualifications does not guarantee selection for written tests, skill tests, trade tests, or interviews. Additionally, all educational qualifications must be obtained from recognised Boards/Universities/Institutes.
