Before taking the examination, candidates should carefully read the instructions on the Admit Card and strictly follow the guidelines during the examination. If a candidate who applied cannot find their Roll Number uploaded by the Commission, they are requested to report to the Commission Office on December 29, 2023, until 02:00 PM with all relevant documents.

All candidates must note that answering every question on the exam is required. The exam will be administered in both English and Hindi. The Group-C positions will be filled through an offline (OMR-based) written examination. Because there is no negative marking, there will be no penalty for erroneous responses. The total number of questions will be 100, with each question worth 0.975 points. Candidates must choose one of the five options presented for each question.

If a candidate is doubtful about the answer, an additional five minutes have been allotted. The total time permitted for the full paper, including the extra five minutes, will be (100 + 5) = 105 minutes. If a candidate does not mark any of the five options for a question, a 0.975-point deduction will be applied for each unanswered question.

The CET exam is used to recruit people for Group C positions in the state. It is a qualifying exam, and those who pass it are considered eligible to compete in the CET Interviews.
