The Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2024 registration process deadline has been extended till January 31. Earlier, it was scheduled to conclude on January 22. Candidates interested and eligible may apply at the GSEB’s official website at gseb.org. However, students will have to pay a late fee of Rs 1,000 along with the registration fees of Rs 350.
The exam is held for admission into various pharmacy and engineering courses across Gujarat and is conducted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB). The exam features 120 multiple-choice questions from subjects like physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics. One mark is given for each correct answer and 0.25 mark is deducted for each wrong answer.
GSEB had also revised the exam date to avoid a clash with the CBSE board exams 2024. The exam was set to be conducted on April 2 but later pre-poned to March 31. The CBSE class 12 board exams are scheduled to be conducted from February 15 to April 2.
GUJCET 2024: How to Apply
Step 1: Log on to GSEB’s official website — gseb.org.
Step 2: Look for the GUJCET 2024 link on the homepage and click on it.
Step 3: Register yourself using the required details.
Step 4: Fill in the exam form and pay the exam fee. Submit.
Step 5: Download and save it for further use.
GUJCET 2024: Application Fees
Students will have to pay an exam fee of Rs 350 to apply for GUJCET 2024. As per the official notice by the Gujarat board, it can be paid online through the SBI e-Pay system using a Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking. Fee can also be paid using the online SBI e-Pay “SBI Branch Payment” Option in any SBI branch of the country. To pay in an SBI branch, candidates must log in to the website and in the payment option SBI e Pay, select the SBI branch payment option, and take a printout of the payment slip. The option for filling form will be shown only after successful payment. In case of failed payment status, the application cannot be filled, the notice added.
